This article lists the main ‘Elastix HowTo’ articles that will get you started with an Asterisk appliance based on Elastix 1.5.2-2. These ‘HowTos’ are based on my experiences in setting up my own system.It is assumed that you have some of the necessary basic skills needed to performt the tasks required. It is beyound the scope of this document to teach those skills listed below:
- Download software files
- Burn CDs from ISO images
- Install hardware into a PC
- Use PuTTY
- Use a web browser
- Understand IP settings
- Configure your router
- Understand the basic concepts of telephones and IP communications in general
